I have been east, i am going west, i drive north every weekend, all in the hunt for snow. Sleeping in the back of my truck, braving freezing temps, i hope heaven is cold and white.

We are ringing the new Era of a new President, if I could meet him or send him a letter this is the words I would like him to hear.

Dear President Obama
Congratulations on reaching the highest political office in our great country. The fact that you were elected into office shows just how far this country has come. With the world watching it is now your turn to lead this country into future. When I choose you on my ballot, I felt like I was not picking another president but choosing a new direction for this  country to take. You ideas and thoughts strike confidence into people who really listen to them. As a american who voted for you, I feel as though I have the right to tell what I think you should do with this country.
You have said that drastic action is needed in order to fix the failing economy, the environment, our national debt and foreign issues we are dealing with. If all the people in this great nation of ours were really committed to making a difference then, I believe we need to pull all our military out of all other countries. Base them all in the united states and put them to work. Not testing weapons, not doing mock bombing runs. Send them across the US building new and better ways of living. Clean energy plants, fixing roads and bridges. You say we need money to fund all your new programs. Look at the militaries budget, it is one of the biggest waist of money of all. We do not need to be fighting people all over the world. How about instead of bombing the countries we hate, we are building in countries we like. Green energy built all over the world by our men and women in service. We could manufacture all the parts and supplies in this country and have all the best scientist working here too. This would create 1000s of well paying factory jobs and  we could even sell all this sweet technology to the rest of the world, AS WE BUILD IT.
In prime of this country, what really allowed us to have the best way of living? We were a major exporter.  Now we are just known as the greatest importer. It makes us look like we are feeding off the rest of the world, witch we are. Lets utilize the greatest people of our country, our people in service. Let us use the power of all these young minds, in leading our country and the rest of the world in saving the planet. It is one of the greatest issues that plagues the world and needs drastic action right away.
So if we used all that money that we spend on useless weapons, to fix the world and make it green, people like Osama bin Ladan would have nothing against us. We would not be putting our noses in other peoples business. And where we are present, would would be building up, not taking down. There is this myth that says we need to fight terrorist with guns and bombs. I laugh at the myth and find it to be far from what is really needed. What we need is an army of men and women that are ready to represent our country in making the world a better place. Not by force, but by the power of being green. Our country would have the chance leading the world into the future. We have done it before with the auto industry. Now, lets do it with the green industry.
